A Mind survey of nearly 450 participants has revealed that unemployed people who suffer from mental
health problems should have the option of being moved from mainstream
programmes to specialist schemes to help them get back to work.
Alarmingly, according to the
survey, 83% of people who took part said that
using the government's job centre services had
made their mental health worse!
